About
A volunteer-run nonprofit bringing STEM education and support services to youth in juvenile detention and correctional facilities.
mission
Juvie for STEM works to reduce educational disparities in juvenile centers and correctional facilities. We run STEM programming, support services, and chapter-led outreach nationwide.
vision
Youth in detention should have access to the same STEM instruction, materials, and mentorship available to students outside the justice system.
how we work
JSTEM is 100% volunteer-run. Chapters coordinate with local facilities, organize supply drives, and lead workshops. Donations fund equipment and programming directly.
